Job Summary
The College of Nursing is seeking a STEPS Instructional Designer. This staff member will provide instructional design and technology support to the College of Nursing’s Graduate and Undergraduate programs. Examples of support include (but are not limited to)
 • Troubleshooting and resolving Canvas LMS issues.
 • Troubleshooting and resolving ExamSoft and exam issues by attending common-hour and scheduled exams.
 • Transferring course materials as needed.
 • Maintaining the college exam calendar.
 • Troubleshooting basic instructional technology issues for faculty, staff, and students.
 • Supporting faculty and the Director of Instructional Design with projects as needed.
 • Other duties as assigned
 This position will directly report to the Director of Instructional Design and Curriculum Development. This is a temporary assignment and the assignment is expected to last for around 3 months. 
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
• Proficiency with Canvas LMS, Microsoft 365, Google Sheets, etc.
 • Proficiency in Instructional Design best practices.
 • Proficiency in ExamSoft, YuJa Media, Echo360, and Articulate 360 Preferred
 • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 • Excellent customer service ability.
 • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse faculty/staff/student population.
 • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
