Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Fine Arts is searching for a Steiner Speaker Series Guest Writer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by documenting resident artist Ioana Vreme Moser's residency in March 2024. They will produce a short graphic essay for the Steiner publication and attend Ioana's lecture and workshop in order to accomplish this task.


Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Performs research to write articles or other print or web published materials. Evaluates and edits documents for relevance, completeness and accuracy.
  • Gathers background information, including interviewing researchers to define and clarify the objectives of writing or editing projects. Conducts research to test the accuracy and consistency of the information collected.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Journalism or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of writing/editing experience
