Essential Functions (Job Duties)
JOB PURPOSE
Conducts university research and statistical modeling and analysis for use in accreditation, reporting, planning, and executive decision-making.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform statistical modeling and visual analytics for use in accreditation, reporting, planning, and executive decision-making.
Design dashboards, infographics, and data visualization using SAS Visual Analytics.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis using SAS Advanced Programming techniques.
Query the Operational Data Store for data analysis and reporting needs.
Develop and maintain SAS code for office data requests.
Provide data and research support in the preparation of university studies and reports.
Prepare and maintain project documentation.
Support office by collaboratively working with the staff and other campus constituents.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematical Statistics, Math, Statistics, or Data Analytics.
Certification:
SAS Certified Advanced Programming; and SAS Certified Visual Analytics.
Experience:
Entry level (no prior job-related work experience)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficient in the use of statistical software (SPSS, SAS) and database software (Excel, Access). Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and similar reporting tools. Knowledge of SQL preferred.
ANALYTICAL AND RESEARCH SKILLS: Ability to evaluate, interpret, and present complex information effectively in professionally prepared documents or presentations.
