Job Summary

Coordinate hiring activities for Office of the Dean in the College of Engineering and CoE Schools and Programs, to ensure efficient and timely hiring of staff positions; support Dean’s initiative in providing professional development opportunities for staff throughout the college, including the Purdue Engineering Staff Leadership Academy (PESLA). Facilitate the recognition of all staff in the college through partnering with communications and marketing team; manage staff data and create reports. Support activities to ensure the Staff  Performance Management process within the College is followed, as well as other special projects as needed.

What We Are Looking For

 

Education and Experience:
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in higher education, administrative or program management experience, or related
  • Equivalent combinations of required education and work experience will be considered
     

Skills:
Required:                

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Familiarity with hiring process
  • Demonstrated success in building internal trust and strong relationships with business partners
