Staff Scientist - Pulsed E PR Spectroscopy

Updated: 2 months ago

Position Description:

Join us on the edge of discovery at both cell and molecular levels.  The National Institutes of Health (NIH), the world’s largest medical research facility, has a challenging position available in the Protein NMR Section of the Laboratory of Chemical Physics, NIDDK. The candidate will be conducting cutting edge research using pulsed Q band EPR spectroscopy on challenging problems in protein molecular biophysics and structural biology.

Qualifications for this position include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral experience in pulsed EPR spectroscopy. Extensive accomplishments in double electron-electron resonance measurements applied to biological systems, and in the development and implementation of new pulsed EPR methods are required. Candidates should also have strong background in all aspects of biological magnetic resonance, including both NMR and EPR, together with expertise in protein expression, purification and spin-labeling.

To Apply:

Interested candidates should submit a current C.V., Bibliography and three references, and may be e-mailed to Dr. Marius Clore at .  Applications must be received by May 13, 2020 and should be sent to:
