  • JOB DUTIES

Description

This SRAII position entails rodent surgical and in vivo magnetic resonance imaging acquisition and data analytical skill sets. This position requires proficient knowledge of python, R and Matlab as well as good experience with Bruker MRI Paravision software, as well as experience with rodent traumatic brain injury models. Pay Range: $27.09 – $43.58 Hourly

Qualifications

All Required: B.S. Degree in Bioenginneering, physics, computer science, neuroscience, physiology, physics or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. General working knowledge of MRI physics principles. General familiarity with the UNIX environment including R, python or Matlab, and some of the major MRI analysis packages. Good communication skills and ability to work well with multiple individuals. Ability to maintain an organized working area. Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and to switch focus as needed. Excellent attention to detail, for accurate data entry and analysis. Good organization and time management skills. Ability to learn new laboratory techniques and new equipment, as needed.
