Responsibilities

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Staff Research Associate II to join the Neuromodulation Division. Primary duties include:

  • Screen and schedule patients
  • Examine and conduct interviews
  • Record and score psychological and neuropsychological tests
  • Coordinate and perform tasks related to TMS Clinical treatment
  • Insurance verification and authorization
  • Manage patient billing records
  • Other administrative and research duties as assigned.


  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree (preferred)
Basic life support (BLS) certification (preferred)
General knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology (preferred)
Strong knowledge of Mac and PC based operating systems
Prior clinical and laboratory experience
Experience with electrophysiological assessment
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with coworkers, research subjects, and their families
Proficiency in data management and organization of technical information
Knowledge in working with insurance authorizations and payments
Ability to learn and understand positioning procedures for TMS.
