The overall objective of the Lab is to understand the molecular and circuit mechanisms that drive pathological alcohol drinking.
The purpose of the Staff Research Associate I position is to provide some support for histology and animal behavior studies.
Please Note: This is a 40% limited appointment with the end on 08/19/2018.

• BA/BS degree in a related science and knowledge of, or experience with, the basic techniques or methods required by the position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Organized, Attention to Detail, Follows Instruction well, Works well with others, Able to multitask, Flexible (the actual work will vary across time, and also there will be multiple ongoing projects that must be performed successfully)
• Must be OK working with and handling rodents
Note: Fingerprinting and background check required. Effective March 13, 2017, all final candidate(s) for employment are required to undergo a background check.
• Coursework or exposure to histology (rodent perfusion, sectioning with cryostat, antibody-based immunostaining, other histological stains, mounting, microscopy and analysis)
• Exposure to handling rodents in a laboratory setting
