  • JOB DUTIES

Description

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator and supervision by Project Lead, the SRA 1 will perform acquisition, quality assurance, and analyses of study data including MRI, EEG, and accelerometry data. The position will include being responsible for managing remote data acquisition of wearable EEG device which includes teaching participants how to properly use the device, monitoring data in the online portal, and troubleshooting issues in real-time. It will also involve performing QC of data and preparing data for analysis in specialized software for analysis of Sleep EEG data. The SRA 1 will have knowledge of each device and will be responsible for interfacing with the device and software suppliers to troubleshoot problems and uphold contract. The SRA 1 will additionally be responsible for scanning subjects on structural and functional MRI protocols, and processing imaging data for higher-level analysis; which includes programming and debugging various imaging processing scripts and checking data quality. In addition, the job will include training testers for various batteries, and being responsible for data entry, scoring and analysis of project data, including neurocognitive and neuroimaging data collected on study participants. Job responsibilities will also involve assisting with IRB protocols and data collection for ongoing research studies. Salary Range: $25.75 – $30.71 Hourly



  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Required: Skill in the use of personal computers, word processing, data entry software applications including basic statistics (Excel/other statistical package) and data management software (REDcap). Prior experience with remote Sleep EEG, Experience with sleep EEG analysis in MATLAB and R. Prior experience working with intellectually disabled and special needs population. Prior experience working with kids that are neurodivergent and have autism, ADHD and/or anxiety. Previous experience working with neurodiverse populations in research setting. Ability to perform other computer data tasks such as data entry and verification. Skill in working independently and ability to follow through on assignments with minimal direction. Obtain MRI Safety Training at UCLA brain imaging centers (center for Cognitive Neuroscience (CCN) Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Neuropsychology, Psychology or related fields. Prior experience with data analysis software, particularly R and MATLAB. Prior experience with remote sleep EEG data acquisition.
