Staff Psychologist (Hybrid)- Center for Counseling and Psychological Services

Position Summary
The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CCPS) at Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for two staff psychologist positions. CCPS seeks two psychologists with strong generalist skills in the areas of time-limited individual, couples, and group counseling, outreach/consultation, and crisis intervention. Additionally, these positions will provide supervision to practicum trainees and doctoral interns receiving training in our center. The ideal candidates will possess specialized training, interest and experience in working with college students and enjoy working in a team environment.
This position is generally 8-5 Monday through Friday with minimal required work outside those hours. This position is also operating on a hybrid schedule with three days working in the office and two days of remote work.
Position provides psychological services including evaluations, assessments and treatments for patients.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides individual, couples, group psychotherapy and crisis intervention for Wash U students.
• Supervises practicum and intern trainees as well as non-licensed psychologists as needed.
• Performs community outreach and consultation services to students, staff and faculty.
• Participates in weekly case conference, staff meetings, treatment team meetings and professional development.
• Serves as a member of a multi-disciplinary committee consisting of staff from CCPS, Habif Medical, and Health Promotion.
• Performs clinical interviews, evaluations and assessments and prepares documentation of results.
• Prepares written progress notes in accordance with department guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualification

Preference will be given to seasoned candidates with:

• A proven track record working in a university counseling center setting with service to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students (Preferably with 3 years of experience in a UCC)
• Particular experience providing clinical services to diverse individuals
• Specialized training, experience and interest in the provision of supervision
• Well-developed clinical skills including an interest and demonstrated experience with the provision of various types of group therapy
• Demonstrated ability to handle spontaneous work demands while undertaking projects that require advanced planning
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary staff of health and mental health professionals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. In Counseling or Clinical Psychology, including completion of an APA approved pre-doctoral internship, and current state licensure required.
• REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Licensed or license eligible to practice as a mental health professional as a psychologist in the state of Missouri. Candidates who are licensed in other states must obtain Missouri licensure within six months.

Salary Range
$73,400.00 - $113,800.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
