McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston , a leading academic health center, is seeking applicants for a Casual Staff Physician position in the Department of Pediatrics , Neurology Clinic . Pediatrics is dedicated to improving the health and welfare of children with medical complexity.

 

Position Key Accountabilities:

The Staff Physician will participate in the supervision, education, training, and evaluation of clinical MEG fellows, and trainees in the workforce program. 

  • Supervision including reading MEG with fellows and trainees and weekly MEG review.
  • Education including participation in teaching sessions/journal clubs. 
  • Training including participation in one-on-one MEG reading and interpretation. 
  • Evaluation including providing immediate feedback to fellows and trainees and bi-annual structured evaluation of the MEG fellows. 

Qualifications:

 

  • Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary license
  • Board Certified or eligible in Pediatrics Neurology
