Job Duties
Development and Education:
  • Advise students on creating new organizations.
  • Educate students on procedures and policies related to student organizations.
  • Plan and host programs to promote the development and growth of student organizations.
  • Document transcript of current training videos.
  • Revise and update scripts for the training videos.
  • Revise and update written information in training videos.
  • Record new live footage or screenshots for videos.
  • Record new voiceovers for videos.
  • Target a length of 5 minutes per video, separating content when appropriate to do so.
  • Analyze and adjust written information on the Student Organizations website and LU Hub pages.
  • For reference, the training videos are as follows:
    • LU Hub: Co-Sponsorship Requests and Payments
    • LU Hub: Emails
    • LU Hub: Events
    • LU Hub: for Officers
    • LU Hub: Memberships
    • LU Hub: Payment Requests and Deposits
    • Policies: Event Services
    • Policies: Fundraising, Donation, and Financial
    • Risk Management: Alcoholic Beverages and Illegal Drugs Awareness
    • Risk Management: Hazing Awareness
    • Risk Management: Other Risks/Concerns
    • Risk Management: Sexual Abuse and Harassment Awareness

Office Support:
  • Greet visitors, answer phones, file papers, run errands.
  • Record and deliver messages, make copies, and scan documents.
  • Collect and distribute mail/documents to various departments.
  • Other clerical duties as assigned.

  • Ability to perform all job duties and responsibilities as outlined.
  • Work with speed and efficiency.
  • Have effective customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work autonomously with little direction.
  • Able to work both alone and in a team.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Have a clear and dynamic speaking voice.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Have experience being involved on campus through student organizations or Greek life.
  • Have experience and knowledge of how to utilize LU Hub.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
  • Must be in good standing with the University.
