Job Description

HOURS :                                 Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES:

Manage the internal Salesforce Development team, conduct daily check-ins, distribute workload & priorities/deadlines.

Management of all system administrative responsibilities and ensuring staff performing functionality is adequately trained and work is validated, performing function in absence of staff or when issues are identified.

Conduct research into business use and needs in the Salesforce platform and produce findings, recommended steps and roadmaps for Salesforce solutions.

Review Salesforce solutions and provide recommended product solution enhancements.

Work with Salesforce users to formulate prototypes and proof of concepts for potential solutions to solve business requirements.

Responsible for oversight and execution of development related activities associated with the successful implementation of Salesforce projects.

Create intuitive and maintainable custom Client-side controls to satisfy client business processes including but not limited to: Visualforce, Aura and Lightning Web Components.

Write proper SOQL queries and data handling procedures that conform and operate within the limitations of the Salesforce platform.

Create scalable integrations that interface to external APIs in order to extract legacy data (including attachments and files).

Develop integrations both internal and external (via REST API) to the Salesforce platform.

Provides guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to the internal development team.

Collaborate with project management team on development effort and status as pertains to Salesforce projects and solutions.

Interfaces with other internal IT teams.

Create and provide documentation for Salesforce solution designs, use cases and test plans.

Act as technical business analyst.

Training support for other staff both in IT and SLU community.

ETL development.

SMS administrator.

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field.

                                               

Three (3) years in any occupation with experience working with Salesforce with an emphasis on development must include (Employer will accept experience in internships or employment): Relational database development; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC, Agile, SCRUM); Administration experience working with Users, Roles, Profiles, Workflows, Page Layouts, Validation rules, Field Sharing, and Security; Demonstrating concepts of solutions to key stakeholders; Experience with online collaboration platforms; Experience with telecommuting; and experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems

ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field, and one (1) year in any occupation with experience working with Salesforce with an emphasis on development. Must have skills listed above.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Salesforce Certified Administrator; Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.

SALARY:                                $120,016 per year
