We are seeking a part time Sr. Research Specialist  for a position is available in the Edwards lab. The incumbent will assist in writing manuscripts and grant applications. He/She will also assist with pathological assessment of human donor and rat model tissue using electron and light microscopy. Therefore, the incumbent should have a solid background in ocular pathology and normal ocular development. He/she will also be assisting with interpretation of histology stains.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
  • Four year's experience in a comparable laboratory performing relevant techniques.
  • Master's degree, with related graduate research, may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $47,500 - $83,300 Annually ($74,350 targeted; Commensurate with experience) 
Employee group: Part-time 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week 
Exempt Status: Exempt 
Location: Hybrid/School of Medicine Campus
