Coordinates the day to day operations and activities for the Project Rethinking the Effective, Visionary, and Innovative Study of Education (REVISE) project. Works closely with project personnel (i.e., principal investigator, co-principal investigators, graduate student assistant, student recruitment intern, and grand evaluator) by coordinating all activities related to the grant.

  • Coordinates and supports all Project REVISE operational and financial activities, events, and processes.
  • Coordinates and supports PI, CoPIs, and Key Personnel for Project REVISE related to any faculty, student, and district initiatives.
  • Collaborates with other personnel in other program grants within Teaching and Learning as needed including (but not limited to) Project SEEDS.
  • Oversees and facilitates student recruitment, including sending recruitment emails and coordinating recruitment events, orientations, information sessions, and in-class recruiting efforts.
  • Coordinates any stipends related to Project REVISE for Cooperating Teachers, University Supervisors, and Faculty, including determining accurate amounts, dissemination periods, and execution of financial transmissions.
  • Coordinates student stipends related to the project including determining accurate amounts, dissemination periods, and execution of financial transmissions.
  • Coordinates with the PI/CO-PIs and Miami Dade County School (MDCS) personnel to recruit mentor teachers, establish field placements, and ensure FIU pre-service teachers are placed in appropriate field experiences.
  • Coordinates field placements for FIU pre-service teachers with the Office of Clinical Field Experiences, M-DCPS, and Faculty each semester.
  • Maintain positive relationships among all stakeholders, including school leadership, teachers and paraprofessionals, FIU faculty, grant evaluator, and grant funder.
  • Coordinates with PI to implement appropriate procedure to ensure efficiency and accuracy to meet the goals of Project REVISE.
  • Supervise student intern for Project REVISE by providing support for all mar-keting and recruitment efforts, such as (but not limited to) creation of flyers, emails, and social media posts.
  • Create and maintain surveys to collect data for the Project REVISE grant.
  • Assist with annual reports of Project REVISE.
  • Perform related duties as required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

 

Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of office or related experience.
