The department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Sr. Materials Management Clerk to work at UHealth. The Sr Materials Management Clerk for Supply Chain will be responsible for, but not limited to performing the receiving and distribution of inventory and special-order items. Assists with restocking the warehouse and delivering supplies to the medical campus and all affiliated hospitals and clinics. Additional responsibilities include maintaining all records related to the receiving and distribution functions, coordinating pickup and deliveries with the Transportation department. Assists the Inventory Coordinator in reconfiguring the warehouse.

  • Works with the Purchasing department to expedite the Return-Goods-Authorization function.

  • Functions as the liaison between Receiving, Purchasing and the Inventory Coordinator in resolving any discrepant receipts.

  • Performs other duties as requested by the Manager or the Director of Supply Chain Services.

  • Ensures that all necessary supplies and par levels are maintained for all assigned areas.

  • Participates in the receipt, inspection, and delivery of all incoming supplies.

  • Maintains all order related documentation and tracking information.

  • Approves all critical supply logs for storeroom inventory supplies.

  • Reviews product use and coordinates ordering to assure best pricing.

  • Works with other departments to resolve inventory and supply orders issues, ensure timely deliveries, and address stop shipments or credit holds.

  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 year of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

  • General knowledge of office procedures and operations.

  • Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record.

  • Previous experience with an automated inventory management system preferred.

  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, reports and correspondence

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion

  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail

  • Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)

  • Valid FL Drivers License required

  • Ability to lift 50 lb
