Job Description
Scope: The Communications and Marketing Department is responsible for the overall image management and communications, marketing and advertising activities on behalf of the entire academic medical center. The Senior Marketing and Communications Consultant position specifically supports the strategic growth goals of Primary Care, Family Medicine, Immediate Care and advancement of the medical center’s reputation. Position Summary: The Senior Marketing Consultant is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of brand, communication and marketing initiatives to support the goals of the previously mentioned areas. He/she provides strategic marketing leadership in showcasing the department’s scholarly activity, diversity and health equity initiatives, talent development, community programming and clinical excellence. The position establishes short and long-term goals and priorities, builds and maintains relationships and provides creative solutions to enhance national reputation and delivery of care.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related area. Minimum of 5 years professional strategic marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in the health care industry, an academic setting, or related area. Strong project management skills required.
