Scope of Position

The Communications and Marketing Department is responsible for the overall image management and communications and marketing activities on behalf of the entire academic medical center. The Sr. Consultant position has responsibility for specific product, service and/or functional areas within faculty and staff recognition, public relations and internal communications and supports the goals of those areas through communications and marketing initiatives.

Position Summary

Develops, coordinate and implements events related to communications and marketing programs to support strategic and financial goals and objectives of the Medical Center. Responsible for faculty/staff recognition events,  high profile corporate events representing the medical center including leader meetings, faculty, staff and volunteer recognition events, as well national conferences.

Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related area. Minimum of 5 years professional experience. Preferably in the health care industry, events management or an academic setting.
