Position Purpose
The Associate Athletic Director, External Operations will report directly to the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics and will be responsible for providing leadership to and aligning all the external units of UCM Athletics including but not limited to: communications, marketing, and promotions, development, creative content, social media, ticket operations, ticket sales, and sponsorship. This position will develop and executing strategies to ensure collaboration and coordination among these units to drive growth, strengthen brand presence, enhance the fan experience, and improve the student-athlete experience. As a member of the athletics executive leadership team, the Associate Athletic Director will represent UCM Athletics within the UCM campus, local community, and to existing and new partners, and have sport supervision duties, as determined by the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations or related field required.
Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations or related field preferred.
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Desktop Publishing, Other - Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Experience
Three (3) years of experience in intercollegiate or professional athletics external operations or related field required.
Two (2) years in sales or solicitation experience in development, sponsorships, ticket sales, or related field preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in event management preferred.
