Title Spring 2024 Video Production/Photography Assistant (Non-Work Study)
Position Description
We are looking to hire up to 2 enthusiastic Video Production/Photography Assistants to join our marketing team. As a video production/photography assistant, you will collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to support all our marketing initiatives. Additionally, your contribution will help develop, expand and maintain the Career Services and Internship Program Office video/photo assets and brand.
Sample Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key member of the marketing team
  • Brainstorm and develop engaging clips, video resources and promotions for the office’s social
  • media and website
  • Edit and shoot promotional videos
  • Edit video clips using editing tools
  • Take photographs at various events and programs on campus
  • Assist with LinkedIn profile photos for students
  • Track analytics to determine content and strategies
  • Research new and latest social media channels and user trends
  • Develop digital campaigns and support the overall marketing strategies for the office
Preferred Qualifications
Requirements:
Current BSU students. Pursuing a degree in communication studies, marketing, art, or other related field. Have the potential to deliver videos and clips that succinctly and clearly tell the desired story. Ability to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other elements that convey a quality production value. Experience with digital photography and editing. Experience with Canva, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Captivate and Adobe Photoshop preferred but not required. Knowledge of digital videography and photography cameras and equipment preferred. Works well under pressure with the ability to multi-task. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
