Title Spring 2024 ResNet Support Representative (Non-work Study)
Position Description
The ResNet Support Representative (RSR) will assist with administrative, technical and marketing tasks for the IT ResNet department. Our goal is to provide BSU resident students with high quality internet service, Streaming TV service, WEPA printing service and entertainment media.
The RSR will support resident students via telephone (x7999), email, chat, TeamDynamix tickets, and face-to-face customer service.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all ResNet services, process, and procedures.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for all ResNet services
  • Provide high level customer service support to resident students
  • Enter TeamDynamix tickets to ensure appropriate and prompt solutions to residents
  • Monitor and assist with WEPA print kiosk consumable replacements
  • Support the ResNet program through marketing, daily tasks and projects.
  • Communicate professionally with resident students, staff, and ResNet and IT student workers
  • Assist in creating marketing information for resident students via new student orientations, ResNet promotion nights, social media, digital signage
  • Maintain media devices in residence hall lounges
  • Update ResNet website, social media i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Attend mandatory student worker training sessions and opening weekend support.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
● Customer service experience
● Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
● Strong desire to learn
● Professional, reliable and dependable
● Possess a high attention to detail
Physical Demands
Lifting/Moving supplies up to approximately 60lbs
