Position Purpose
Duties & Responsibilities:
● Develop annual personalized financing plans for students.
● Assist students with FAFSA completion.
● Act as a liaison between students and Financial Aid and Student Accounts offices to help students navigate the process.
● Conduct financial literacy presentations to classes, student/Greek organizations, and clubs.
● Information dissemination to students (Publicizing initiatives, etc.)
Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation
Experience
● Successful undergraduate students with >60 credit hours and 3.25 gpa, or graduate students nominated by the Chair of the Harmon College of Business & Professional Studies, Department of Economics and Finance.
● Candidates will have an expressed interest in financial planning and providing this service to other students.
● Candidates will have demonstrated strong leadership skills, and
● Candidates must be willing to sign confidentiality statements, strictly adhere to Department of Education policy, Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines, UCM institutional policies, and other guidelines as required by the Director of Student Financial Aid.
