Title Spring 2024 Bartlett College Digital Marketing Specialist (Non-Work Study)
Position Description
The Digital Marketing Specialist is part of a small team of student employees who collaborate to produce, and through College social media channels share, visual content for the Bartlett College of Science & Mathematics.
Candidate’s exact duties will align with their area of expertise in one or more of:
  • Social media management
  • Videography and/or audio production
  • Graphic design

The digital content created in this position will support marketing and communication campaigns in the Bartlett College of Science & Mathematics. Candidates may collaborate with aligned efforts in the College’s seven academic departments as well as the Center for Advancement of STEM Education (CASE), the BSU Observatory, and the BSU MakerSpace.
Some onboarding and ongoing guidance will be provided by Dean’s office staff; however, the successful candidate will be expected to be prepared to begin to contribute immediately, and to thrive in a flexible work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A demonstrated ability and experience with one or more of the following:
  • Social media page management
  • Digital asset management
  • Videography and/or audio production
  • Graphic design
  • Animation

- Basic knowledge of visual content types, social media trends, and platform functionality
- Declared majors or minors in the Bartlett College of Science & Mathematics preferred
