Speech Language Pathologist


Department:
Arts and Sciences | Speech Hearing Science-JM

The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct assessment and treatment for adult clients with neurogenic cognitive-communication disorders, provide case management and referral as needed, provide direct supervision to graduate and undergraduate students in Aphasia Initiative and Brain CARE programs, provide weekly feedback on lesson plans, SOAP notes, diagnostic reports, and therapy support materials. Conduct end of semester reviews per SHS clinic policy. Communicate and coordinate with SHS clinic staff & faculty as needed. This position is available for one year with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funding.

Minimum Education Required
Master's Level Degree with a Major in speech & hearing science

Qualifications Required: Master's degree in speech language
pathology, the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
