Advance Practice Provider - Specialist NP/PA

The Division of Endocrinology in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is in search of an APP/Specialist with experience in the field of clinical endocrinology and/or diabetes.  This faculty position is required to meet the growing clinical practice at our UT Health San Antonio practices.  The position is for a full or part-time clinical specialist with opportunities for academic and administrative leadership advancements.  The applicant should be motivated, responsible, and be able to assist in fulfilling the Endocrinology and/or Diabetes clinical support needed for the division.  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Texas medical license. 
• NCCPA certification for a Physician Assistant or an ANCC or AANP certification for a Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or Master’s of Nursing degree in Nurse Practitioner studies
• Active BLS Certification
