Position Summary:
Prepare the daily clinic schedule utilizing current automation systems. Maintain the daily clinic schedule and prepare all statistical data. Communicate changes in the clinic schedule to supervisors, staff, support areas, and patients as needed. Perform a variety of customer service duties. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.

Detailed responsibilities:
* SCHEDULES - Receive and coordinate assigned schedules; enter schedules as required, create daily clinic schedules using current systems
* CHANGE REQUESTS - Receive and enter approved leave and change requests and make changes to the existing schedule; edit master department or clinic templates as needed
* CUSTOMER SERVICE - Identify patients affected by changes to existing clinic templates; communicate on bumped appointments, cancellations, and assist with rescheduling
* MASTER SCHEDULE - Responsible for the accuracy of the Master Clinic Schedule Templates and daily clinic schedules
* RECORDS - Maintain records of provider leave absences and any change requests to the master schedule templates
* REPORTS - Provide statistical reports as needed
* EXPERTISE - Serve as technical expert on system functions; provide pertinent in-services/training for clinic and provider staff
* CUSTOMER SERVICE - May perform a variety of customer service tasks such as: appointment scheduling, answering telephones, intake/registration of patients, collecting co-pays and down payments, reconciling clinic performance records
* PAYROLL - May perform payroll functions as assigned
* DEVELOPMENT - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops
* PATIENT CENTERED MED - Adhere to and promote the core expectations of the Patient Centered Medical Home or Patient Centered Specialty Practice as applicable
