Position Information: The Solutions Architect is responsible for the development and design for critical infrastructure technology along with ongoing maintenance and support. Provide technical expertise and architectural solutions in infrastructure supporting hardware, software, and hosting services.
Essential Duties:
Recognized as an expert.
Highest level contributor.
Troubleshoot more complex problems and recommends corrective action.
Storage and Virtualization Administration responsible for management and maintenance of software and hardware that comprised of the storage area network both compute and network which included shared data centers between all OU campus locations.
Infrastructure Monitoring and Alerting responsible for management and maintenance of software and hardware that comprise the monitoring and alerting system.
Design, maintain, and provide wireless service to all OU campus locations.
Lead enterprise database, big database systems, and ERP applications architect.
Manages overall compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) across all OU campuses.
Design, plan, and implement new file, object and block storage for the University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 60 months related professional IT experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication
Analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail regarding accounting skills
Ability to work under indirect supervision
Broad understanding of information technology topics
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills
Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities
Technically creative and open-minded
