The UW Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (DAID) has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time software developer.

This position will support the Chu Lab to work on a research platform that enables a large-scale study of SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory illnesses in Seattle and Portland. The software developer will be part of Dr. Helen Chu’s lab and will work closely with engineers from the Brotman Baty Advanced Technology Lab to maintain and improve the existing system for data collection and analysis, contribute to the development of new web applications, and extend functionality of existing data and interface code for such applications. This position also collaborates with peers and others to improve practices, processes, and tools for software development, testing, versioning, continuous integration, automated release and deployment of service changes, and operations and monitoring.
