Job Summary: 

Under limited supervision, participates as high level technical expert in design development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software. Leads or mentors lower level team members.

Job Duties:

  • Utilizes software tools, programming languages, databases, and methods to enhance, develop, maintain, debug, and support new and existing software applications (e.g., web-based, mobile, client-server, etc.).
  • Takes an active role in application migration to new platforms, databases and technologies.
  • Performs testing and enhancements for the software.
  • Collaborates on the development of testing procedures, training materials, documentation, and provides demonstrations.
  • Troubleshoots issues with software and responds to recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
  • May act as team lead on less complex projects.
  • Assists in training less-experienced software development staff.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    • Education: 

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.

    Experience:

    Five (5) years professional experience is required.
