Shift
Day shift. Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hrs/wk). Additional hours as necessary.
Job Summary
The Social Worker Senior/UKHC position serves as a member of the Pediatrics healthcare team to enhance support for patients, families, providers and staff in the Forensic Pediatrics program at UK HealthCare.
The Social Worker role in Forensic Pediatrics will be primarily responsible for developing and working with fatherhood programs. This position is also critical to ensuring children who have suspected abuse/neglect receive the necessary medical, social and financial resources available to them and for ensuring all children have the parental/guardian support to help them thrive. This person will work closely with DCBS on suspected abuse and medical neglect referrals and will be required to testify in court on behalf of the information obtained through forensic interviews and investigation.
