Course: Methods of Research in Social Work I

This course introduces students to the scientific method and research design process used to evaluate and inform the social work profession. Methods of both quantitative and qualitative data analysis are explored.

Candidates may be approved to teach the following courses as well: Methods of Research in Social Work II and/or Social Work Capstone

What You Will Bring:

• Doctorate in Social Work OR
  • Counseling OR
  • Psychology OR
  • Behavioral Health OR
  • Human Services OR
  • Education Psychology or other related field

• AND Master’s in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program
• AND two years post-master’s social work practice experience 
• ORMaster's in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program
• AND five years post-master’s social work practice experience
• AND experience with social work research
