Job Summary/Basic Function
Assists with the administrative tasks associated with the BSW program of the Department of Social Work and provides administrative support to the Department Chair.

Job Duties


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducting in-person, phone, email, and text message outreach to prospective BSW students
  • Assisting the BSW Program Director to track outreach efforts toward prospective students
  • Monitoring and supporting potential BSW students during the application process
  • Assisting the BSW Program Director to provide an initial orientation to new BSW students
  • Evaluating BSW student outcome measures in conjunction with BSW Program Director
  • Maintaining the Department’s website under the direction of the Department Chair
  • Maintaining a social media presence for the Department
  • Providing other administrative support to the Department Chair as needed
  • Tutoring BSW students for professional writing and use of APA formatting style
