The research assistant (RA) will have strong research and communication skills, and be responsible for helping organize research interviews, conducting library and on-line research, creating and maintaining a shared Google Folder and annotated bibliography, and various other tasks related to helping faculty research and produce an article sociologically investigating Philippine-born and United States-born Filipinos.Full Job Description:
More specifically, the RA will be based on the USF Hilltop campus, and primarily responsible for:
- helping to identify and recruit interview participants,
- helping to organize research interviews,
- identifying, gathering, and helping build an annotated bibliography of research and media on diaspora studies, the Philippine diaspora, Filipino international students, Filipino immigrants, and Filipino Americans
