General Notes

This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Some limited travel required.

Purpose

Plan and implement research activities for a state contract focused on programs that transition individuals currently residing in state psychiatric hospitals or nursing facilities back into a life in the community. Collaborate with research team and project partners. Collect manage, analyze, and regularly present quantitative and qualitative data from participants, managed care organizations, and state agency data systems in reports, presentations, and publications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data collected from participants, managed care organizations, community mental health centers, and state agencies using statistical software.
  • Facilitate project implementation, particularly date collection with project sites, project partners, and funders.
  • Prepare regular reports, presentations, and publications.

  • Administer data collection instruments specific to contractual and site specific outcomes.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and project meetings with stakeholders.


Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in social work, public health, social sciences, or related field with at least 6 years experience in multi-site health services evaluation planning, implementation, data management, analysis, and reporting findings OR a Master's Degree in social work, public health, social sciences, or related field with at least 4 years experience. Excellent attention to detail. Experience using statistical software, and online surveys (e.g., Qualtrics, REDCap), and conducting interviews. Values the contributions of others in a diverse work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.


Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral Degree in social work, public health, social sciences or related field. More than 5 years experience conducting research in the public mental health field, using quantitative and qualitative statistical software, managing datasets, using web-based applications to present data (e.g., Infogram, Canvas, Power BI), and writing research findings for publication and for the public.


Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 depending on qualifications

  • M-F, Flexible between 8am-6pm
