The Alliance for Child Welfare Excellence (the Alliance) is a partnership between the University of Washington – School of Social Work, Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), Eastern Washington University – School of Social Work, University of Washington in Tacoma – School of Social Work and Criminal Justice, and the University of Washington – School of Social Work – Partners for Our Children (P4C).  The vision of the Partnership is to join as one entity to support the readiness and continued learning of foster and relative caregivers and the child welfare workforce with the intention of achieving the best possible outcomes for Washington’s children and families.

The Alliance and the School of Social Work have an outstanding opportunity for a Social Media and Communications Specialist. This role supports the Alliance’s efforts to share information about its organization and initiatives. It manages the social media channels, including finding content that audiences will respond to, and staying on top of trends and best practices on social platforms. This role also works to draft communications pieces and platforms including emails, website and texts.
