Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this 1-year time limited (with possibility for renewal) position in the Psychology and Neuroscience Department is to advance the research of Dr. Sara Algoe, a leader in the Social Psychology Program. The position will focus primarily on implementing John Templeton Foundation-funded research studies investigating the roles of emotions and social behaviors in dyadic relationship development, maintenance and thriving, as well as how these aspects of social relationships contribute to goal pursuit, mental health, and physical health. 
 
The successful candidate will have ample opportunity to assist with all aspects of research. Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to, assisting with: research implementation, data collection, data management, lab maintenance, and help with coordinating undergraduate research assistants. This position is responsible for carrying out research tasks following established procedures. The position is well-suited to those who intend to pursue graduate training in psychology or neuroscience. 
 
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
