Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to advance the research of Dr. Abramowitz?s Anxiety Lab in the Psychology and Neuroscience Department. The focus is on understanding the factors that lead to these problems, the nature and assessment of anxiety symptoms, and how the treatment of clinical anxiety can be improved. In Fall 2019, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) awarded a large ($1,505,000 (over five years)) research grant to study the course and predictors of postpartum OCD.
Responsibilities for the current position include, but are not limited to, assisting with: project coordination activities, data collection, data management, participant retention, and help new student workers (research assistants and undergraduates) as directed. This position is responsible for carrying out human subjects-related research tasks following established procedures. The job assists with the recruitment and data collection activities from adult participants, which includes helping with the consenting/assenting individuals and applying basic standardized quality control. 
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
