Position Summary/Description:
This Social/Clinical Research Assistant (Advanced) position provides assistance in support of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (PHO) research activities under close supervision. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the PHO research group at UNC Chapel Hill with the regulatory, clinical and administrative aspects of Children's Oncology Group (COG), Industry, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and other therapeutic/clinical studies within the PHO division. The position will be responsible for completing protocol-related tasks, data management for various research studies & databases and assisting with administrative functions of the PHO research unit, according to good clinical practice, the UNC IRB and government regulations.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
