Description of Work
 The Thurston Arthritis Research Center (TARC) investigates the causes, consequences and treatments of arthritis and autoimmune diseases, the objective to reduce their impact on patients, their families and society. TARC is associated with the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Medicine.  Dr. Beth Jonas, MD is the Interim Division Chief, and Dr. Richard Loeser, MD is the Director of TARC.  This temporary part-time position will assist with community awareness activities, recruitment, enrollment, and assessment of participants for the Johnston County Health Study. This position will maintain study schedule and records and assist study interventionists as part of a team. Early morning, early evening and weekend work may be required.   The position is based in Johnston County NC.  
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
