Position Summary
This research assistant position will be trained to deliver a brief psychological intervention to perinatal women experiencing depression as part of a research study. The SUMMIT Study (Scaling Up Maternal Mental healthcare by Increasing access to Treatment) aims to learn who can best deliver psychological interventions and how they can best be delivered by testing whether trained non-mental health providers can successfully deliver the intervention and whether it can be delivered virtually as well as in-person.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills and healthcare experience
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Interest in women’s health and experience with social and behavioral research. Spanish-speaking applicants encouraged to apply. Prefer a candidate with no formal mental health training.
