Position Summary
This position will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator within The Department of Pediatrics through the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization, and conduct of multiple clinical research study protocols, including independently collecting and recording data, project administration, and communication with various stakeholders.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally. Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience with diverse, low-income families though prior work, volunteer, or other experience. Preferred candidates will also have experience and passion for the development of healthy families; will have completed a four-year college degree program in Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, or another related social science field, and have experience in human subject research. Preferred candidates will also have at least one year of experience with a clinical trial, patient recruitment, and retention and Spanish fluency.
