Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a clinical research study coordinator on a research project involving peer group mentoring for racially or ethnically underrepresented postdocs or assistant professors. The person in this position will work closely with the Principal Investigators and other faculty Investigators to facilitate research participant recruitment, retention, and assessments. This is a multi-site research project with Duke University as the second site. The person in this position will work closely with Duke investigators and their research team and be responsible for coordinating meetings and effective communication. The person in this position will need to effectively recruit 80 racially and ethnically underrepresented postdocs and junior faculty into a 9-month facilitated peer mentoring program, foster continued engagement of participants during the program, and ensure that all survey data are collected at appropriate time points. This individual will need to maintain follow-up survey contact with participants over two-years following completion of the program.
 
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
