Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is the daily management of research projects and related activities at UNC Kidney Center.
Work is performed independently, in close coordination with physicians, PhDs, and other coordinators associated with the UNC Kidney Center.
Protocols conducted in the UNC Kidney Center are reviewed by the UNC School of Medicine's Committee on the Protection of the Rights of Human Subjects, and may involve the use of children, adults, or both as study subjects. They include federally-funded and industry-sponsored studies. 
Patient participation may be limited to Outpatient visits or may require a combination of Inpatient and Outpatient study visits, most of which are done , in the Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) or the Ambulatory Care Center at UNC Hospitals. Travel to offsite UNC outpatient clinics and dialysis units is required.
  
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
