Responsibilities

UCLA Simulation Center is a state-of-the-art, interprofessional health professions training facility that applies active learning and immersive educational techniques, tools, and technologies to transform health education and patient safety.

Under general guidance from the Medical, Education and Operations Directors, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and supporting all educational and research activities in the Center, including undergraduate and graduate medical training, nursing education, and UCLA Health staff and patient safety programs.In this role, you will provide support for the daily operations of the center, providing expertise in the operation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and user training of simulation equipment. You duties include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate educational activities
  • Design, implement and evaluate curriculum
  • Develop innovations for instructional purposes
  • Support and lead research projects
  • Setup and operate simulation sessions using high tech computers and clinical equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual and simulation equipment.
