Job Overview

The Simulation & Programming Manager - in a temporary academic support role - is responsible for designing and running a simulation for up to 100 students in the Foreign Policy and Economics Policy Academies.

The role requires energy and enthusiasm about the college experience through academic enrichment in the main areas of their responsibility:

  • Program Development
  • Program Management
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Work Interactions

This is an academic support position in which the Simulation & Programming Manager is responsible for supervising students in the Foreign Policy and Economics Policy Academies.

Work Mode Designation

This position has been designated as Hybrid. Requirements and Qualifications

  • Current or graduating undergraduate or graduate student
  • Experience working with high school students and faculty
  • Experience with Model UN
  • Supervisory and/or leadership experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, Zoom, and Canvas learning management system (LMS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current or graduating GU student
  • Institutional knowledge of Georgetown University
  • Undergraduate or high school teaching experience
  • Knowledge or experience relating to the Academy subject matter
