JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    Penn State Shenango is seeking a qualified, highly motivated person to join our athletic program as a part-time Head Coed Golf Coach. Penn State Shenango is affiliated with the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

    The successful candidate must have knowledge of both the required technical and tactical skills and the ability to communicate well with team players.

    Responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of building a brand new and competitive team: including recruiting; planning; organizing; and conducting team practices; traveling and supervising the team at away contests and coordinating home events. The Coach will assist in the responsibility for understanding and maintaining strict adherence to conference and USCAA regulations.

    Qualifications:

    At least 1 year of coaching experience at the high school or college level preferred.

    Associate or Bachelor's Degree required.

    This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:

    • PA State Police Criminal Background Check

    • PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form

    • FBI Criminal Background Check.

    Additionally, This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check is required.
