PROGRAM COORDINATOR, SHORT PROGRAMS, MIT Professional Education (PE), to serve as a key contact for all program stakeholders.  Will handle applications and coordinate admissions of enrollees; organize, execute, or supervise program delivery logistics; collect program information/materials and assure their timely publishing and distribution; develop and manage expenditure budgets; negotiate vendor contracts for a range of services; conduct and collate participant survey results; generate specialized reports; evaluate, recommend, and implement operational changes/enhancements for future programs; participate on cross-functional project teams; and provide support to other PE programs as needed. 

MIT PE offers a suite of education programs and products to serve the continuing educational needs of science and engineering professionals globally. 


Job Requirements
REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree in related field; two years’ academic administration/business experience, preferably in a customer service setting or project management role; knowledge of monitoring finances and creating/reviewing financial reports; excellent time-management, project/program management, organizational, problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication and presentation skills; attention to detail; self-motivation and willingness to learn; flexibility; discretion and good judgment with confidential/sensitive matters; and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and video conferencing applications (Zoom); knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce or others), cloud-based programs (e.g., Concur, SAP, Quip, Slack, Asana), and other project management tools.  Seek someone with a track record of managing multiple projects and schedules simultaneously; documenting, updating, and archiving tasks, timelines, and processes; following through on programs/projects/tasks; meeting deadlines; and responding to needs/requests quickly in a fast-paced environment.  Must be able to interact effectively with faculty/staff/participants and work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.  PREFERRED: experience in executive education and knowledge of MIT.  Job #20313-6
