The positions do the following:

A Summer Operations Coordinator is approximately 35 hours per week, and may include weekends. This position has the overall responsibility to create a comprehensive guest housing operation that meets the goals of the Summer Guest Housing Program.  A major function of the Summer Operations Coordinator is that of ensuring that the various staff functions are fulfilled through appropriate and equitable delegation of specific tasks. The Summer Operations Coordinator assumes the major leadership role in providing direction in the hall and supervises a staff consisting of approximately 10 Guest Hosts.  The Summer Operations Coordinator interacts with a wide variety of clientele and must show a willingness to provide for the needs and expectations of these groups.

The Assistant for Hospitality and Project Coordinator is approximately a 35 hours per week position, and may include weekends.  This position works in concert with the Manager for Service Operations, Assistant Director for Service Operations and Associate Director for Operations & Facilities in a team effort to enhance an atmosphere of hospitality and related support services for guest groups. The Assistant for Hospitality and Special Projects is responsible for creating opportunities for social interaction and staff development, as well as staff appreciation among Summer Guest Housing employees.  In addition, this position is assigned independent projects including assessment and special group registration processes. The Assistant for Hospitality and Project Coordinator collaborates with the Summer Guest Housing staff and the Facilities Team to guarantee that all linen needs are met throughout the entire summer. They interact with a wide variety of clientele and must show a willingness to provide for the needs and expectations of these groups.
