TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

Requires extensive progressive experience including experience at both the contract and project manager level.

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering required from an accredited engineering program. Requires professional registration in the state of Alaska, or ability to obtain PE registration within six (6) months of hire.
Possess and maintain a valid drivers license

Salary Information: Grade 83 /DOE.  This is a full-time, benefited position with a UA employee benefits package .

Probationary: Pursuant to University Regulation 04.07.020, new employees of the University are employed in an at-will probationary status for the first six months of employment.   During the probationary period, employment may be terminated for no reason or any reason.  Promoted employees also serve a probationary period with limited rights of retreat.
