The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Senior Research Specialist (Project Director) to primarily be responsible for the oversight and implementation of objectives, tasks, and milestones for all components of the BEST research project. This position manages multiple subcontractor sites, coordinates closely with the Steering Committee, and communicates regularly with PCORI to ensure timely reporting as well as adjustment of protocols /procedures as needed. The Senior Research Specialist leads program management,  quality control, and support for the project, oversees data collection and data analysis; interfaces with multiple levels of the organization and external entities to facilitate, and/or train in the essential elements of the project protocol; oversees the operations of the project, budget management, support staff supervision, records management, meeting coordination and documentation; ensures program compliance with government regulations, PCORI regulations, University policies, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements, and prepares regulatory reports; monitors operating cost and prepares financial reports.
